You are a shapeshifter who can’t always control what animal you turn into. You living in a world of floating islands that start crumbling away the moment you arrive. You must use your wits and deck of cards to navigate around difficult terrain, collect new cards, and trinkets, while trying not to run into any walls.
Each level is a new floating island, where you must hurry to an exit portal located across the island, all the while it falls away behind you. Chests, containing powerful synergies, wait just out of the way, tempting you to spend more time than you have to add their contents to your ever changing deck of cards. That is to say, if you can manage to even walk in a straight line.

Why Are We Making This Game?
Stumble will have a large gameplay feature never before seen in a roguelike deck builder, along with several other smaller new features. While a small number deck builders have limited forms of character movement, stumble will have a completely navigable 3D environment.
In other games the movement is very simple and limited. Stumble will have a robust and purposefully puzzling movement system. You will flip, rotate, and play cards containing Tetromino (Tetris blocks) like shapes. These shapes paired with different forms of movement like, Jump or Climb, will allow you to navigate across beautiful windswept, sunburnt, and frostbitten, floating islands.
